In my humble librarian opinion, books make great gifts. You can buy them for any age, and it’s fun to share your love of literature with others. You can give them at any special event throughout the year, too. Plus, it’s easy to pop into a bookstore and buy everything you need in one place. Or...the best free gift you can get your child is a library card!
