This year we are celebrating 75 years of puppetry at the Nashville Public Library. This month we bring back one of our most popular puppet plays: “The Frog Prince” – Fridays and Saturdays at 10:30 and 11:30 through May 25th.
This Saturday the 11th at 10:30 we have the Heritage Dance Project completing their Spring Tour with a performance in the conference center auditorium on the first floor!
All of our shows are free and super-terrific!

Our Puppet Truck will perform shows at the following locations:
Saturday, May 4th @ 10:30/12:30/2:30-“Many Moons” (TACA-Centennial Park Publix Kids Tent)
Saturday, May 4th @ 12:25 – “The Stonecutter” (Whole Kids Festival- Bicentennial Mall)
Sunday, May 5th @ 10:30/12:30/2:30 – “Many Moons” (TACA)

One Wednesday we also offer “Babies and Books” – a special Story Time by Pat, our Children’s Librarian; for ages 0 – 3!
This year we are celebrating 75 years of puppetry at the Nashville Public Library! This month we bring back the classic Grimm’s tale of “Hansel and Gretel” – performed with the Peeko Puppets and starring “Danke”, the marionette that was hand-built for us by our puppeteer friends in Magdeburg, Germany! Running every Friday and Saturday at 10:30 and 11:30 until April 27th.
Our Puppet Truck will perform “The Stonecutter” at the following branch library locations:
Saturday, April 20th @ 10:30am – Richland Park
Saturday, April 20th @ 2:30pm – Old Hickory

Something new! The “Big Kids Club” for children ages 5 – 12, this Tuesday at 10:30 First come, first serve for 15 participants only.

Something new! The “Big Kids Club” for children ages 5 – 12, this Tuesday at 10:30. This week is a scavenger hunt! First come, first serve for 15 participants only.
This Thursday the 21st at 10:30 we have the Heritage Dance Project visiting with an interactive, literature –based workshop that gets kids moving and keeps spirits high! For ages 5 – 12.

And something new! “Babies and Books” – a story time geared to babies and toddlers – 3 and younger – in the Orientation Room and is limited to 15 adults with kids-in-tow! Wednesday only at 9:30 and 10:30.

The Puppet Truck will perform Ellingtown at the Pruitt branch Library on Saturday, February 23rd at 3:30 PM for African American History month.
