Minton Sparks Headlines Night at the Library’s Future Break Event
Nashville, TENN. – Nashville Public Library presents Future Break featuring Minton Sparks. Recently awarded The Fellowship of Southern Writers 2011 inaugural Spoken Word Award, Tennessee native Minton Sparks is a literate livewire in a flower print church dress. This Grammy©-nominated artist teaches workshops across the U.S., and in her newly established Writing and Performance Institute here in Nashville. Appearing with Minton Sparks is her long-time side-kick, John Jackson, an A-list Nashville guitarist with a wide range of influences, perhaps most well-known music for backing up legendary Bob Dylan 1991-97.
